Description:
Genes were annotated by merging VectorBase and JCVI prediction sets, and adding community annotations. VectorBase annotations combined GeneWise/Exonerate models from known proteins, aligned cDNAs/ESTs followed by an ORF prediction, and SNAP ab initio models. JCVI annotations were based on EST assemblies (PASA), the Augustus genefinder and Genewise, converted to gene models using EvidenceModeler.
